I had to play with the color of the picture a little- but this is pretty close to the real shade- maybe a little less blue... but that isn't the couch's natural color. The original picture I took was entirely blue! This skein is probably medium weight... it's still a little thick and thin, but smaller :) I spun 2 singles and then plied those together... and guess what! It doesn't spin in one direction or another! No overtwisting- Whohoo!
