project specs

yarn: Caron Simply Soft in Sage
Pattern: from an old school magazine of my grandmothers
skills: knitting and crocheting
time: April - December... I took a break! Actually, I would estimate that this project took me 2-3 weeks if I counted my work continuously
Notes: I curse the neckband, and the day the designer designed it!

Here's the coat I made for my 1 year old nephew- it's not a Christmas present, even though it's green- it's his birthday on the 22nd! Although you can't see the buttons, they're very cute, and very European (where he lives). But that collar is STILL driving me nuts.

School's out for December!

ok- so this post is a few days late.... School was over Friday at 5pm. WHOOHOO!
I'm taking classes next semester, but have a lighter law schedule and I'll be taking brazilian portuguese to fill out my hours. yay.

The last few days the guy and I have been working hard on remodeling the bathroom- he literally took it down to the subfloor during finals, and we finally laid travertine tiles today. again...whoohooo!

in knitting news- the green jacket has been seamed, but needs to have button bands crocheted on, and then buttons put on.
So I have tonight to finish that, block it and mail it tommorow!

I've got to get to work!

1/2 left

Just some revisions on a paper, then I have to print it out and hand it in. Totally doable in the next 4 hours.

I'm almost there! Then I get to knit a little
:) YAY!

2 down, 1 1/2 to go

Fed Tax and a paper due Friday.
Then... PARRRTAY!

In other news, I bought a Black and Decker waffle maker/griddle - it's sort of like my Mom's old General Electric one- and I'm loving it. Waffles for lunch and dinner yesterday, and again this morning.
Yay!

1 down, 2 to go

Immigration law is done... now just Business Association and Fed Tax.
Whoohoo.

I'm looking forward to Friday at 5pm- I'll be enjoying the beginning of winter break. Probably by either knitting or sleeping. Hrm. Maybe I can do both.
