I'm supposed to be studying, but yesterday after the exam I took a break... and watched on tape the 2 new espisodes of Simpsons, the new episode to Family guy from Sunday, and Nanny 911 and Super Nanny (yeah I love those last 2 shows for some reason) anyway- there was studying going on in between these shows mind you, and during the shows I was knitting. I was very productive in both departments. In case you're curious, the sock yarn I'm using is the Moda Dea Sassy Stripes I picked up at Michael's a while ago. It knits up at 6 stitches per inch on size 3 needles, and the patterning sort of looks like Opal- I wish it didn't have the white and black repeats, but such is life. I decided to start this project for the Yarn Harlot's upcoming visit... small, portable and yet easily recognizable for what it is.

and no, I didn't finish the hat :) There is some pulling happening with the hearts- I don't like that and may rip back, even though that might screw up the chenille.

Comments:
I love your little start to a sock. The colors are nice and bright and pretty. I was smiling when I read your post cause Simpsons, Family Guy and the Nanny shows are my favs too. I don't know what it is about the nanny shows, strangely compelling to see how the families function (or disfunction) definitely teaching me a thing or too not to do if I ever become a parent =)
